Rima is from Chicago, IL and is the granddaughter of Lithuanian refugees in the diaspora. She has her university degree in philosophy and political science with minor concentrations in history and international relations. Like many Lithuanians in the second wave of emigration she has grown up with the history of Lithuania through her family, and schooling. Beyond her strong faith, her passions include Lithuanian culture, foreign policy, history and Lithuanian folk dancing. She is currently working on a documentary film (Game Changer: Lithuania's Nonviolent Revolution) based on her undergraduate thesis on nonviolence as a means to attain freedom using the Lithuanian model. She is the Director of Media at the Lithuanian Research and Studies Center in Chicago. She is also a member of the Rotary club of Chicagoland Lithuanians.
Jonas serves as Community Development Director for the Washington, D.C. Lietuviu Bendruomene; and Finance Director and Legal Advisor for the 16th Sokiu Svente, to be held in Philadelphia in 2020. He previously served as Finance Director for the 15th Sokiu Svente in Baltimore, Maryland and on the board of Lietuviu Fondas. Professionally, he is a Policy Counsel at the Computer & Communications Industry Association, where he focuses on telecommunications, Internet governance, and media policy. He is licensed to practice law in the state of Maryland and admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit. He received his J.D. from American University Washington College of Law (WCL), and he was graduated from Fordham University in the Bronx, where he studied Political Science and Spanish Language & Literature.
TJ is from Chicago, IL and is involved in various Lithuanian organizations. He holds a masters degree in forensic chemistry. He is a member of "Spindulys" folk dance ensemble and a member of Lithuanian Scouts.
Maja is studying Elementary Education and Spanish at the University of South Carolina. She is an active member of Lithuanian Scouts.
Kleopas Matas Kvizikevičius
Director of Marketing and Public Relations
Kleopas Matas is a sophomore currently double majoring in Political Science and Environmental Studies at St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota. Matas teaches Lithuanian at Martynas Mazvydas Lithuanian Heritage school and is an active member of Minnesota Lithuanian community. After graduation, he plans on pursuing a foreign service career in Lithuania.
Director of Social and Cultural Affairs
Monika has her university degree in marketing from DePaul University in Chicago, IL. She is involved in the Lithuanian City of Chicago Club and Lithuanian Scouts.
Director of Membership Affairs
Lukas is currently studying biology at Valdosta State University and is looking to go into the medical field. Over the course of his life, he has been an active participant in Lithuanian programs like LSS (Lithuanian Scouts Association) and LISS (Lithuanian International Student Services) to help him connect with other Lithuanians across the world.
